The Referral Program: Earn Credit
ArtistsUpdated Jun 11, 2026
Love using Crafted Call? Invite other artists to join, and you'll earn credit toward your Crafted Call subscription and services every time someone signs up with your link and starts submitting their work. It's a simple way to grow the community and get rewarded for it.
How the Referral Program Works
Every artist gets a personal referral code and a matching share link. When another artist joins Crafted Call through your link and gets started, credit lands in your referral balance. Here's the flow:
You share your referral link or code.
A new artist signs up using it.
That artist completes their first entry (their first submission to a call).
You earn referral credit you can put toward your subscription and services.
Note: Referrals are for bringing new artists to Crafted Call. Self-referrals don't count.
Find Your Referral Link
Log in and go to your Dashboard.
Open the Referrals page (your Artist Referral Dashboard).
If you don't have a code yet, click Generate Referral Code to create one.
You'll see your Referral Code and a Share Link — each with a Copy button.
Tip: Your share link looks like craftedcall.com/r/YOURCODE. Anyone who visits it and then signs up is tied to your referral.
Invite Other Artists
From the Referrals page you can share in whatever way suits you:
Copy your link or code and paste it into a text, DM, or post.
Use the built-in buttons to share via email, share on X, or share on LinkedIn.
Encourage the artists you invite to actually create an account from your link and submit to a call — that's what completes the referral.
What You Earn and When
Referral credit is granted in two stages as the artist you referred gets going:
When they sign up with your link, a referral credit is added to your balance.
When they complete their first paid submission, you earn an additional credit.
The current rewards are a credit on signup plus a larger bonus credit on that first submission. Exact amounts may change over time, so check your on the Referrals page for the up-to-date figures.

Referral Credit Balance
Note: The first-submission bonus is tied to your referred artist's first paid entry, so it's earned once per referred artist — not for every submission they make.
Where your credit can be used
Your referral credit applies toward Crafted Call subscriptions and services. It builds up as a balance you can draw down over time.
Note: Referral credits cannot be applied to submission (entry) fees, and they don't apply to organization activation fees. They're for your Crafted Call subscription and services.
Track Your Referrals
The Referrals page gives you a live view of how your invitations are doing:
Signups — artists who joined using your code
First Submissions — referred artists who've completed their first entry (and earned you a bonus)
Total Referrals — signups plus first submissions combined
Credits Remaining — the balance you have available to use
You'll also see a Referral Credit Balance breakdown showing credits earned, used, and remaining.
Terms to Keep in Mind
You need a referral code to participate — generate one from the Referrals page if you don't have it yet.
Credit is earned only for genuinely new artists who join through your link; self-referrals are excluded.
The signup credit is tied to the new artist creating their account; the bonus is tied to their first paid submission.
Credits apply to subscriptions and services, not to submission fees or activation fees.
Tip: For your referral to be tracked, the new artist should visit your link and accept cookies before signing up, so we can connect their account to you.
FAQs
Where do I find my referral link?
On your Referrals page in the Dashboard. Generate a code first if you don't see one.
When do I get credit?
Partly when your referred artist signs up, and the rest when they complete their first paid submission.
Can I use credit to pay an entry fee?
No — referral credit goes toward your Crafted Call subscription and services, not toward submission or activation fees.
How many people can I refer?
There's no cap on how many artists you can invite. Your balance grows as more of them join and submit.
